22. september starter seminaret "Migrant Labour in the Eldercare Sectors - The Nordic Model". Seminaret er i regi av NORFACE-nettverket der NOVA er medlem.
"På seminaret blir det spesielt fokusert på hvilken rolle innvandring spiller i forhold til tjenester innenfor eldreomsorgen i de Nordiske landene", sier John Eriksen, forskningsleder ved NOVA og ansvarlig for organiseringen av seminaret.
Seminaret er finansiert av NORFACE, og det er NOVA som har regien for arrangementet.
På seminaret vil det bli innlegg fra forskere både fra Danmark, Sverige og Norge. Blant annet vil Professor Karl Ove Moene fra Økonomisk Institutt ved UiO, holde innlegg med tittelen: "Den Nordiske velferdsmodellens levedyktighet og middelklassens rolle".
